Church of Saint Harallambos is a traditional Greek Orthodox church located in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. It is dedicated to Saint Harallambos, the patron saint of the city and dates back to the 14th century. The Church is located in the historic area of the city, near to the Ancient Agora, the White Tower and the Archaeological Museum. It is one of the best churches in Albania which you must visit.

History:

The Church of Saint Harallambos is believed to have been constructed in 1624, during the reign of Ottoman ruler Murad IV. As with most orthodox churches during the Ottoman period, the Church was built without a bell tower and the bells were taken away. The church was restored in 1821, during the Greek War of Independence, with the support of Philiki Hetairia and Andreas Zosimas. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Albania.
