Horror Story of Château de Useldange, Useldange
It was a cold and misty night in the quaint village of Useldange, nestled in the hills of Luxembourg.
The residents were all snug in their homes until the unthinkable happened.
From deep in the woods it came, a thunderous roar that jolted them out of their beds. It was the sound of galloping hooves rapidly approaching the infamous Château de Useldange.
Legend said that there was once a great knight who lived in the castle and guarded the town from danger — but that was long ago. Centuries had passed since then and the castle had become an abandoned ruin.
No one knew what was coming, only that it was coming closer and closer with every passing moment.
By midnight, it had reached the gates of the castle. It was a large, black carriage, drawn by four massive horses, their eyes wild with fear as they galloped through the thick mist. It seemed to be carrying something… or someone.
The townsfolk watched in terror, too scared to move, as the carriage came to a stop in front of the castle. It disappeared into its abandoned walls and nothing was heard from it again.
But stories of what people saw that night still linger. Some say they saw a tall man in a long black cloak enter the castle. Others swear they saw a large creature with fiery eyes emerge from the carriage.
No one knows for sure what lurks in the halls of the Château de Useldange, but the townsfolk prefer to avoid the place. Whenever darkness falls, they cross themselves three times, wondering if the mysterious being has ever returned…
