Some interesting news is coming from Goa for the tourists. Goa has decided to set up a co-working place for professionals who loves to work on beaches while enjoying the scenic beauty. The state government has come up with the idea of promoting tourist-friendly places where travelers can also work while enjoying the beaches in Goa.

The state government of Goa is planning to promote “the culture of #WorkationGoa”. They will set up co-working places for professionals who want to work on the beaches. The Tourism Minister of Goa Rohan Khaunte has selected three beaches for the initial development phase. Two beaches from North Goa, Miramar, and Morjim, and one beach from South Goa, Benaulim are selected for setting up co-working places.

The Minister said that any working professional can work, enjoy surfing, come back, take a shower, and resume their work again. These places will provide a suitable working environment for the people who want to work.

He added that, since many IT companies are providing leverage to their employees for work from home, they want working professionals to come to Goa and work in these spaces. This will only help the employees and IT companies in their future endeavors.

“We need spaces to develop Goa like the T-Hub. We have already started advertising to seek spaces to create coworking spots. Today, we are ready with the database,” the Minister said. The Minister added that they are preparing model beach shacks that will inculcate modern facilities including Wi-Fi for the professionals. The first model will be set up on three South Goa beaches, Benaulim, Colva, and Baina, and one in North Goa at Calangute-belt.

Furthermore, the shacks will include plug and play facility where visitors just need to connect with the infrastructure and sewerage provided by the state government.
