The worship method of Wenshu Temple on Mount Wutai in China is an amalgamation of traditional Buddhism and local folk religion. Worshippers may chant sutras, worship the temple's main statues, do prostrations, make offerings such as incense and fruit, and make vows to gain Buddha’s grace.
