St Michel Church has stood since 1883 and is dedicated to the Archangel Michael, whom is known as the patron saint of Paris. The land it occupies was consecrated 200 years earlier and was the site of a chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary in 1772, which was destroyed during the French revolution.
