Zōjō-ji is a major Buddhist temple in downtown Tokyo, Japan. The temple is part of the Jōdo Shinshū (True Pure Land) Buddhist sect and holds annual services for spring, summer, fall, and winter. It is traditionally associated with the Tokugawa shogun family. The temple's main worship method is liturgical services for sect-specific prayers.
