The Templo de Nuestra Señora de Aranzazú is a beautiful baroque church located in the town of Arantzazu, Oñati, Spain. The church was built between 1717 and 1738 by the master architect and sculptor Juan Bautista de Landa. The exterior walls of the temple are made of stone, with the central tower and two smaller arches rising above the belfry. Inside the temple, the main nave has an impressive gilded altarpiece. The church is considered an artistic masterpiece and a symbol of religious fervour in the Basque Country. To the left of the main entrance is a small chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Aranzazu, which contains a statue of the Virgin Mary that is said to have miraculous powers. The Templo de Nuestra Señora de Aranzazú also offers mass, confession and several spiritual retreats throughout the year.
