Pyramid of Neferirkare at Abusir is an ancient Egyptian pyramid built at Abusir for the pharaoh Neferirkare, who reigned during the Fifth Dynasty (2465-2323 BCE). It is one of the oldest surviving monuments of its kind in Egypt. The pyramid is located on the west side of the necropolis of Abusir, and was discovered in the 19th century. It is thought to have been the largest pyramid in Abusir, but the remains of other smaller pyramids at the site show that it may have been just one of many. The Pyramid of Neferirkare stands approximately 42 meters in height and is made of limestone blocks. Its interior includes five chambers built of mud brick, and traces of a passageway leading to a false door carved with Neferirkare's name and titles. The remains of the pyramid also include several structures and structures related to the burial, including a mortuary temple, a valley temple, and a causeway.
