Potter's House Church is a non-denominational independent ministry founded in 1996 by Pastor T.D. Jakes and located in Dallas, Texas. The church focuses on worship and prayer, believing that in a changing world, prayer and the power of the Word of God can transform lives. Potter's House Church offers many services to its members and visitors, such as Sunday worship services, Bible study, homecare services, and much more. History Potter's House Church was founded in 1996 by Pastor T.D. Jakes. At the time, Jakes had been a pastor for 15 years in West Virginia, and had built a large following by preaching the gospel. Upon arriving in Dallas, he launched the church with a congregation of 75 people. Since then, Potter's House Church has grown exponentially, and today has a congregation of over 30,000 people.
