History:

St. John's Cathedral is a significant and beautiful Anglican Church located in Harare, Zimbabwe. It was built in 1925 and it contains 64 stained glass windows, many of which along with the murals were donated by the residents of the city. The building of the church is neo-Gothic in style and is modeled on the style of Milan Cathedral found in Italy. An extensive restoration of St. John's Cathedral was carried out between 2007 and 2010, funded by the Barclays Bank of Zimbabwe. It is one of the best churches in Zimbabwe which you must visit.
