Worship Method:

Quan Am Pagoda, located in the heart of Da Nang, Vietnam, is one of the main places for worship for local Buddhists. Worship at Quan Am Pagoda is based on a combination of traditional Buddhism and folk beliefs. The typical worship method is to circumambulate the pagoda three times clockwise, stopping at each of the pagoda's four main entrances. During this circumambulating, the devotee should stay focused, keep their head down, and bow their head in reverence and respect. At each entrance, the devotee should kneel down and make offerings of lotus flowers, incense sticks, and prayer cards, while chanting Buddhist mantras. After the ritual, the devotee should ring the large brass bell, symbolizing the commencement of the worship ritual. Entering the interior of the pagoda, devotees will find several shrines dedicated to Quan Am Bodhisattva, who is the female representation of mercy, compassion and relief in Buddhist teachings. Devotees will also make offerings here, such as flowers, fruits, incense and money. After that, they will proceed to the main hall of the pagoda, where a giant white statue of Quan Am Bodhisattva is located. Here, devotees will make offerings of flowers, fruits, incense, tea, and prayers. They will chant the praises, recite Buddhist scriptures, and make silent prayers while circumambulating the statue three times clockwise. After the ritual is complete, devotees will return to their original place in a clockwise direction and bow three times in unison to show respect and gratitude to Quan Am Bodhisattva. This is the general form of worship at the Quan Am Pagoda in Da Nang. It is important to take into account the culture and customs present in each location, which may vary from place to place. In any case, devotees should always demonstrate respect and reverence while worshiping at a Buddhist temple. This most visited temple in Vietnam
