Ho Quoc Pagoda is a unique temple located on the island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam. The temple is dedicated to the Buddhist goddess of mercy, Avalokitesvara. The worship method in Ho Quoc Pagoda is similar to many other Buddhist temples in Vietnam. Upon entering the pagoda, visitors are asked to make an offering - usually incense, flowers, fruit and paper money. The flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc takes about 1.5 hours and the bus takes approximately 5 hours. Once in Phu Quoc, you can take a taxi to the Ho Quoc Pagoda. Taxis can be hired at the airport or at local taxi stands.
