The worship method of Rudranath Temple in Uttarakhand follows a simple and traditional approach. Worshippers who come to the temple make offerings in the form of flowers, flowers petals, coconuts and other items, as a form of respect for Lord Shiva, the presiding deity of the temple. According to Hindu tradition, the worshippers are expected to turn their head around three times in circles, close their eyes and chant 'Om Namah Shivaya' during the worship.
