The worship of Maa Maya Devi, one of the most important and prominent goddesses of Haridwar in Uttarakhand, is done according to the traditional rituals of Hinduism. There are special pujas and rituals conducted on special occasions, such as festivals, especially Navaratri. These activities include chanting of shlokas, aartis (invocations) and havans (fire rituals). There are priests at the temple who help you perform the rituals. The devotees can offer pooja items, flowers, fruits, incense sticks and lamps to Maa Maya Devi as part of the puja.
