History:

The history of Ski Dubai began in November 2005 when the ski resort opened as part of the Mall of the Emirates - the second largest shopping mall in the world. It was the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East, and is part of the expansive United Arab Emirates. Ski Dubai, with its 22,500-square meter facility, offers excellent winter activities and sport for all ages. Among its attractions are the world's largest indoor ski mountain with five slopes of varying steepness and difficulty. To make sure fresh snow is delivered to the slopes, Ski Dubai uses an innovative snow ventilation system, constantly drawing air from outside the building and mixing it with moisture to achieve the perfect snow quality and temperature at all times. 5. The snow at Ski Dubai is made from a mixture of water and glycol, and is totally recycled from within the facility. Any snow made that is not used is melted down and reused. 6.
