History:
Jebel Hafeet is a mountain located in the Emirate of Al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The mountain is home to numerous ancient tombs, thought to be from either the Iron Age or earlier. These tombs have been studied by archaeologists, and they have determined that some of the tombs date back to the 4th millennium BCE. Many of the tombs appear to have been constructed from large stones, and several of them are clustered together in what is known as a Jebel Hafeet Grave Group.
