The Wat Thung Setthi Temple in Thailand follows Theravada Buddhism, which is the most widely observed branch of Buddhism in Southeast Asia, and its worship methods reflect this. Generally, worshippers visit the temple in order to make offerings and receive blessings from the monks. Offerings include food such as fruits, flowers and incense, as well as donations of money. Upon arriving at the temple, worshippers will stand in front of a venerated image of the Buddha and present their offerings. Then, they will bow three times as a sign of respect, and the monks will offer words of wisdom or blessings in return.
