Worship at Wat Sila Ngu ou Wat Ratcha Thammaram is traditionally based on Theravada Buddhist ritual. Monks chant the Pali phrase, "Buddham saranam gacchami, dhamma saranam gacchami, sangham saranam gacchami" ("I go for refuge in the Buddha, I go for refuge in the Dharma, I go for refuge in the Sangha"), as part of the weekly worship ritual. Monks make offerings to the Buddha statue and bless the congregation with holy water. Participants kneel in prayer and give offerings of flowers and incense. Buddhists also participate in various ceremonies and festivals held at the temple throughout the year.
