The worship method of Wat Si Rattanaram (Wat Bang Phang) in Thailand follows the traditional Theravada Buddhist practices. Devotees make offerings including flowers, incense sticks, lotus flowers and candles to the standing Buddha, monk statues and other gods and goddesses. Prayers and chants are then performed as a way to express admiration towards the divine figures. During the worship, devotees kneel and touch their hands to the ground three times in homage to the Buddha and other deities. After the chant, they then all leave the temple and proceed to the nearby lake or river to kneel down and pay their respects by making offerings with lotus-shaped cups filled with water.
