Worship Method:
The worship method at Wat Phra Pathom Chedi in Thailand follows the same basic practices as other Buddhist temples in Thailand. visitors first must dress appropriately by wearing covered shoulders and legs. Shoes must be removed and hats should be taken off while in the inner temple grounds. After arriving at the temple, visitors should offer three traditional wai (a bow with palms pressed together) to honor the Buddha. Afterward, visitors will be invited to walk the rian (circumambulation path) three times around the temple. This walk is a form of ritual worship, honor and respect. Afterward, visitors can pray or meditate while seated around the Chedi (stupa). They can also offer small lotus or jasmine flower offerings and light joss stick incense. You can also take a train or bus from Bangkok to Nakhon Pathom and arrange to be picked up from the train station or bus station.
