The Chaya Someshwara Temple, located in Panagal, Telangana, is an important shrine for local Hindus and is revered as one of the Dakshina Kailashas. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Someshwara, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The worship at Chaya Someshwara Temple is done according to the Shaiva Agamas (Vedic scriptures). The daily rituals in the temple begin early in the morning at around 5 am with the priest chanting invocations and presenting offerings, flowers and incense to the Lord.
