The worship method of Thiruverkadu Devi Karumariamman Temple includes three main steps- Pradhana Abhishekam, Sahasranamam and Aradhana. 1. Pradhana Abhishekam: It is the first step of the worship method and it involves offering prayers and offerings to the goddess. During this abhishekam, the priest performs various prayers such as Purusha Suktam and Narayana Suktam. These prayers make the goddess happy and grant the devotees the desired boons. 2. Sahasranamam: After the Pradhana Abhishekam is finished, the devotees recite the Sahasranamam of the goddess. This is a hymn of 1,000 names of the goddess. It is believed that by chanting the Sahasranamam of the goddess all the problems and obstacles will be removed from the life of the devotee and they will be granted the desired boons. 3. Aradhana: This is the last step of the worship method of the Thiruverkadu Devi Karumariamman Temple. During the Aradhana, the devotees offer flowers and circumambulate the goddess.
