The morning ritual begins with the "Suprabhuta puja", during which the processional idol of the deity is adorned with flowers and mango leaves. After this, the priests perform spiritual chants while offering flowers and grains to the idol. This is followed by the "Yajna Pooja", in which offerings of ghee, oil, and sandalwood are made.
