is located in the Nickerie district of Suriname. Shanti Fifth Adventist Church, better known as SHACOBETH, was founded in October 1990 with seed capital from the Netherlands Missionary Society. Very soon after, the organization became a part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Over the years, the church has grown significantly in size, becoming one of the largest and most active Seventh-day Adventist Churches in Suriname. Since 1994, they have also helped establish several smaller churches in the area. SHACOBETH is a vibrant and growing church.
