The worship of Sri Anjaneyar Kovil in Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka, follows Hindu traditions of puja (worship) and sankalpa (an intention or vow that is made for something). Worshipers at this kovil will enter the shrine and offer fresh flowers, milk, ghee, and fruits. Then they will perform rituals such as application of achman, pranamams, archanam and meditation.
