History:

is an ancient temple located in Tellippalai town in the Jaffna district of Sri Lanka. It is famous for its Murugan Temple and is often called the “Thirupadigam” of the north. The temple was built during the period of King Cankili II, who ruled from 1617-1620. Worship Method:

The Sivagnavairavar Temple at Kailaya Valavu in Mallakam, Tellippalai, Sri Lanka is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
