The main worship of the Pasupatheswarar Temple at Panankadu, Akkaraipattu is conducted according to the ancient Saiva Agamas and Pasupata Sampradaya. Every day the presiding deity is offered puja, abhisheka and archana. The devotees offer various types of flowers, fruits, and tamboolam.
