Lanka Christian Church (LCC) in Sri Lanka is a fellowship of churches that seek to establish strong Christian communities throughout the country. It is considered the largest protestant church in Sri Lanka and has been involved in several community development initiatives. LCC was founded in 1981 by a group of evangelical and charismatic leaders who wanted to bring the gospel to Sri Lanka in a more organized and unified way. History:

 The Lanka Christian Church was inspired by a Bible conference in Kandy, attended by 200 protestant leaders in Sri Lanka. This conference laid the groundwork for the new Church with a vision to bring Christians together to strengthen the message of the gospel and evangelize the nation. Since then, the church has grown to include more than 363 congregations spread across the country, with more than 40 thousand members. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Srilanka.
