The Sri Papathi Amman Temple, Colombo in Sri Lanka follows a Shaivite form of Hinduism and adheres to the puja vidhanam (worship procedure) of Tamil Shaivite tradition. The temple has a traditional gopuram (tower shrine) and the murti (image) of the presiding deity, Papathi Amman, is housed in the sanctum sanctorum (innermost chamber). The temple is located about 9 km from Bandaranaike International Airport. You can easily get to the temple by taking a taxi from the airport. The journey should take around 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a bus from the airport to the Pettah bus stand in Colombo.
