Uchinada Bible Church is a Christian community of faith located in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Established in 1957, it is one of the oldest English-speaking churches in the country. Uchinada Bible Church has become a place of sanctuary, providing support and guidance to many in the local and international community throughout the years. History Uchinada Bible Church originated in 1952 when members of the Church of Christ in Japan (CCJ) were expelled from their original places of worship. Hoping to create a larger place of worship, the church moved to Uchinada Village and officially established Uchinada Bible Church in 1957. Since then, the church has been known as the "Church of the Gospel in the Uchinada Valley" and under the same name in signs to this day. Facts Uchinada Bible Church currently has an estimated 300 worshipers and serves as the main provider of English-language worship services in the Ishikawa Prefecture. The building also houses a kindergarden and a library. Uchinada Bible Church also houses a number of ministries, including men’s and women’s ministries, prayer ministries, and an outreach program for the local community. Services Uchinada Bible Church offers a variety of services including Sunday school for children, adult bible studies and seminars, youth groups, worship services, and special events. The church is also active in mission trips to other parts of Japan, as well as other countries.
