St Bartholomew's Church, Brighton, is an Anglican church located in the Seven Dials area of the city of Brighton and Hove, in the county of East Sussex, on the south coast of England. It was built in 1877 and is Grade II listed. The current rector, the Reverend Canon David Picken, has been in post since 2010. It is one of the best churches in England which you must visit.

History:

Founded in 1876 by the then Bishop of Chichester, Rt. Rev. Edward King, St Bartholomew’s was built as a mission or daughter church of St Peter’s Church in the centre of Brighton. Its mission was “to increase the depth and extend the outreach of Christian education and outreach in the urban environment of Brighton”. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.
