Old St. Patrick's Catholic Church was founded in 1846 by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Originally located on Lake Street, the parish moved to its current location in 1921. The current Gothic Revival building was designed by Henry Schlacks and completed in 1927, and was designated a Chicago Landmark in 1976.
