Møllevang Church is a historical building that was constructed in 1853 by the local community in Møllevang in Denmark. It is an Evangelical Lutheran Church of Denmark and serves both its local congregants and visitors. It provides regular worship services but is also used for conferences and wedding ceremonies. The church design is traditional Danish with the altar and the pulpit at the center and the two side aisles leading to the front entrance. The current pastor of the congregation is Pastor Helle Rasmussen.
Møllevang Church History
The development of the Møllevang Church began in 1853 when the community decided to construct a wooden church. This wooden building has stood for 166 years and is a well-recognized landmark of the village. By 1977, the wood structure was no longer usable and the community decided to build a new, stone church. This newly-erected building still stands today and continues to serve the religious needs of the town.
