Højerup Old Church is an ancient ruined church near Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the last remaining part of the medieval village of Højerup. It was built in the early 13th century and was the most important church in Zealand at that time. It is a prominent limestone structure and has been hailed as a "a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture". The interior of the church is filled with a variety of grave markers which date back to the 13th century, including King Valdemar IV's grave, depicting a crucifixion scene. The church was abandoned in the 16th century and is now a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church still holds regular services, which include baptisms, weddings, and funerals, as well as occasional musical concerts.
