H.C. Ørsted Power Station is a power station located in the Copenhagen suburb of Frederiksberg. The station was the world's first combined heat and power (CHP) district heating facility, and opened in 1917. His original designs of the facility were made for a power station in Ålborg, but his plans were later used to construct the Frederiksberg station.
