History:

“Dinghui Temple” is located in Zhangjiakou City of Hebei Province in north China. It was built during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1661-1722) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The temple is also dedicated to Confucianism and both religions are practiced there. According to official records and local literature, the temple was first built in the 12th century during the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234).
