History
The first record of a chapel dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene on the site of the current Church of St. Mary Magdalene is from 1512. However, the wooden structure of that church did not survive and was replaced by a stone church in the late 16th century. The current structure of the church dates back to the 19th century, when it underwent several renovations and expansions, including the addition of a spire and tower. Twenty-first century renovations were also carried out, resulting in its current state.
