Buchanan Parish Church, located in East Dunbartonshire, was first established in 1741. During the 19th century, the church underwent significant renovations and a spire was added in 1834. The exterior of the building has retained its original Georgian style and grandiose interior features of the 19th century. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.
