Ardoch Parish Church In Scotland: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The first church on the site was believed to have been built in 1663, and was located on the site of the current church. It was a square building, composed of four walls and a roof, but did not have a tower or steeple. By the late 18th century, the church was in disrepair, and in 1799, a decision was made to demolish the building and rebuild it in the gothic style popular at the time. The new building was completed in 1808. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.

The Ardoch Parish Church is built of local sandstone and features a tall tower and spire, which reaches a height of around 60 feet. Inside, the church includes two galleries, with the lower gallery believed to have been added in 1820. The church also features a number of stained glass windows, and a pipe organ that was installed in 1882.
Services:
Services are held at Ardoch Parish Church every Sunday at 11:30 am. The services are in the Church of Scotland tradition and include hymns, prayers and a sermon. Other services are held throughout the year, including special services for Easter and Christmas.This beautiful church in Scotland has made a lot of significance in the past.
