In 1957, the church was renamed Guesneau Seventh-day Adventist Church due to a land purchase. They broke ground for their new building in 1961 and since then the church has grown to include a Bible study group, children's ministries, youth ministries, senior ministries, and community outreach programs. Guesneau SDA Church This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Saint Lucia.
