Shepherd House International is a Christian ministry focused on meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of displaced and vulnerable refugees and other displaced persons around the world. Founded in 2010, the organization seeks to provide aid, food, shelter, and other essential items to those in need, as well as to provide spiritual guidance and opportunities for education and job training. Shepherd House International has offices in several countries and works in cooperation with a variety of churches and organizations. History:

 The organization began as the brainchild of Chaim Kolodny and his wife, Lillian. Chaim, a Jewish man, wished to provide aid and support to refugees in distress after his own family was affected by the Holocaust. He was inspired by the Bible’s story of Good Samaritan literature and realized that his compassion had to be shared. Lillian and Chaim started by helping by providing necessities such as food, clothes and even shelter to those in need. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Saint Lucia.
