The De Brieul SDA church was established in 1983 by Elder Kenneth and Betty Knowles. Originally, the church was a mission station from the Bethel SDA church in Smyrna. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Saint Lucia.

De Brieul SDA church provides regular Sabbath services every Saturday morning. They also hold weekly prayer meetings, seminars and other events. They have an active youth ministry, as well as an active children’s ministry. The church also provides a variety of activities and events throughout the year, such as retreats, cookouts and family movie nights.This beautiful church in Saint Lucia has made a lot of significance in the past.
