The Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren) is the second of the three majestic pyramids that make up the Giza Necropolis. Built for Pharaoh Khafre in the 4th Dynasty (c.2520 BCE) between 2558-2532 BCE, it is the third largest pyramid in Egypt, behind Khufu's Great Pyramid of Giza and the nearby Pyramid of Menkaure. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Egypt.
