The Progressive Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ (PCOLJC) is a non-denominational Christian ministry that has been established to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Founded in 1989 by Bishop Charles E. Blake, the ministry has grown to include churches in over a dozen states. PCOLJC is rooted in the Pentecostal tradition and focuses on spreading the love of God and compassion of Jesus through music, Bible studies, and small group discussions. History The Progressive Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ was founded by Dr. Charles E. Blake in 1989 in Los Angeles, California. He created the ministry to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ beyond the walls of the traditional church, reaching people who may not be familiar with Christianity. He wanted the church to be open and welcoming to people of all backgrounds. From its early beginnings, the church has now spread to over a dozen states and multiple countries.
