History:

Kenilworth Baptist Church was started in 1920 by a small group of about 18 members. It was officially organized in 1921 and has grown steadily since then. In April of 1922, the church had its first service at the Kenilworth Woman's Club building. Later that year, the church purchased a lot at the corner of Warwick Road and Leamington Street, where the church currently stands. In 1943, the church built a new brick sanctuary and continued to expand over the years. The church has an average worship attendance of about 160 people and receives about 35 new members each year. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.
