It is a member of Japanese Lutheran Church (JLC) and belongs to the Lutheran World Federation. Although the church is mainly localized in the Tokyo metropolitan area, it has members in many different cities and provinces throughout Japan. The church was founded out of a desire to spread the Gospel in Japan and to serve and glorify God, and it is dedicated to proclaiming God’s Word to all people in Japan, regardless of nationality, language, or culture.
