Chiesa di Sant'Egidio is a Roman Catholic church located in Rome, Italy. It was built in the 12th century, and was once the home of Pope Innocent II. The church is dedicated to St. Egidio, a 4th-century bishop of Narbonne in France. Its Baroque façade was added in 1611. The church is well known for its magnificent marble altar and its beautiful stained glass windows which depict the life of St. Egidio. Several important works of art, including paintings by Guercino, Domenichino and Reni, are housed in the church's galleries. The church also houses the tomb of Saint Philip Neri and offers a range of services such as concerts, workshops, lectures and language classes.
