Anfiteatro romano di Trebula is an ancient Roman amphitheater located in the town of Trebula in Italy. Built around the 2nd century CE, the theater has an estimated capacity of around 3000 people. It has been identified as the meeting place of a civil court in imperial times. The amphitheater is circular in shape and has a semi-circular façade which is divided in three segments by two towers, one of which is surmounted with a gable roof. The open pit in the center of the amphitheater could contain five hundred spectators. The paving is made up of travertine, which was taken from the nearby quarries. The theater is preserved in fairly good condition and is regularly used for public events and performances.
