The Church of Saint Anthony is a historical basilica in Padua, Italy, that has been venerated since the 13th century and is often regarded as the most important church of the city. It is named after Anthony of Padua, the Portuguese saint and patron of the poor. First built in 1232, the church features a large Classical nave and façade, and impressive Baroque and Renaissance embellishments that were added during its long history.
