Wat Phutthayan Wisut is a Buddhist temple complex that has been around since the15th century. It is comprised of two main structures: Phutthawan and Wisut. The Phutthawan is a 6-meter high structure of two walls with splendid bas-relief sculptures carved into them. The Wisut is a multi-level building that contains a large collection of Theravada Buddhist texts and artifacts.

Wat Phutthayan Wisut is a major pilgrimage site and is a popular destination for believers from all over the world. The temple complex is also home to hundreds of monks and nuns who devote their lives to the practice of Buddhism. The temple is also known for its abundance of bells, which symbolize prosperity and good luck.
History:
The temple was founded in the 15th century and has served as the spiritual center of Ban Tam District ever since. The temple has been the site of numerous Buddhist ceremonies and festivals over the centuries. The temple was also the site of a battle during the 14th century and was destroyed during the Siege of Ban Tam in 1660. The ruins of the temple were rediscovered in the 1980s and the temple was restored in 2009.

The temple is located just outside of Ban Tam and is a popular day trip for visitors to the area.
